It is the home of the game's main protagonist Totooria Helmold, her sister Cecilia Helmold, and her father Guid Helmold. The great adventurer Gisela Helmold also hailed from the village originally, although it's not well known. The village is best known as a small fishing village.
The player will start the game in Alanya Village before Totori goes to Arland with her childhood friend Gino Knab. Later, with the proper item, the player will be allowed to freely travel between Totori's workshops in both Arland and Alanya.
