"We felt like something interesting was happening, so we came to visit"
— Atomina in Atelier Sophie

Atomina is a character in Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book and Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey.

In comparison to Meklet, she is very docile. She scarcely has emotional highs and lows. She is one of the two artificial lifeforms that Luard's soul was sealed into by Plachta, the other being Meklet. They both have endless life and dreams of returning to their true self, Luard. Because of her artificial body, she originally can't use alchemy, but with the help of Sophie gains the ability to perfom simple alchemy.

Role Edit

Atelier Sophie Edit

Meklet and Atomina has an unclear role for a long time, mainly appearing at Sophie's atelier at times. Towards the end of the main storyline they combine back into their true form - Luard, to use Ablation Alchemy, and becomes the main antagonist. After Luard's defeat, his existence is split back into Atomina and Meklet. Reminded by Sophie of the wish to help others they shared with Plachta, they both set off into the unknown. While it's not known what happened to the two from there on, Plachta ensures Sophie that they will be alright.

Atomina and Meklet later re-appears in the DLC story, where they play a big role.

Atomina only appears in event scenes and can't be found in town, therefore she can't be given gifts.

Atelier Firis Edit

Atomina, together with Meklet, are helped by Firis during the journey. They start requesting alchemy items from Firis with the ulterior motive to get her to help them to find out the truth about a friend they knew 500 years ago.

Atelier Lydie & Suelle Edit

Atomina and Merklet fell into their alchemy cauldron after the events of Atelier Firis. The result was Alt, a recombined Luard.
