Aula Kuhl is a character in Atelier Marie: The Alchemist of Salburg and Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg.
Atelier Marie[]
Like her brother Kreis, Aula shows high levels of intelligence and has a calm demeanor. She works at the academy's store where Marie can purchase new alchemy recipe books, tools and ingredients. If you visit the academy's store on March 8th or 9th, you will get half prices on everything for sale.[3]
Aula also acts as chief of the academy. After graduating, it was clear that she was a valuable asset, and she was promoted. It's rumored that her alchemy level would rival Marie's, and she graduated top of her class with good grades. She loves alchemy, and is friendly to all the students.
She worries about her younger brother, and will ask Marie to make an item that may increase his social standing within the school. Marlone creates her own item which she calls "Smile to the World" which makes people more friendly. Aula will reward Marie with a wand that will increase her physical defense, but greatly lower her magical defense. It's hinted through dialogue that Aula is often having to look after her brother, and dealing with his lack of social skills.
She's not a major character and does not appear again in the Salburg series. Luise Lawrencium replaces her as the academy's shopkeeper in the other games.
In Atelier Elie, Luise tells the player that Aula left her job to get married. Although she does not appear in person, it seems like she still checks up on Kreis from time to time during Alchemist Marie & Elie.
