The Beast Statue is an attack item in Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland.

The recipe book is given to Rorona by Sterk automatically for Assignment 3. When used in battle, it will summon a monster to attack a single target.

Cordelia and Gio ask for Beast Statues as part of their Friend Quests. Esty may also ask for Beast Statues at the castle as an available Front Quest. Because it is a magical tool, they can be registered at Pamela's Shop using Wholesale.
