Eselin Freeden (エーゼリン・フリーデン) is one of the playable character in Atelier Lina: The Alchemist of Strahl.
She is a goat-shepard that live in the town of Moog and can communicate with animals. She speaks normal sentences backwards to her goats, a practice she has dubbed the "animal language". Nevertheless, she appears to possess an almost supernatural connection to animals and nature.
Ezelin refers to herself in third person, and is called by herself and others simply by the nickname "Lin". She also has a talent for making sweets, but strongly dislikes cheese.
She can be hired as a party member for 200 Cole in Moog.
In the "Lina the Alchemy Professor" ending she becomes a student at Lina's alchemy academy.
