Dense Wood is a synthesized item in Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland.
It is a versatile item that is used in a few different development quests and a variety of different recipes. Meruru will need to deliver Dense Wood during the Handel Forest I development quest when the area is first discovered.
After Arls National Mine is discovered for the first time, Dense Wood can also be used to build a shortcut from Arls to the mine during the Western Swamp I development quest. Finally, Dense Wood is required for a final request at Hart Outpost during the later years in the game. It will be needed to reinforce the outpost from lizard attacks during the Enhance Outpost II development quest.
