Palaxius is the true antagonist in Atelier Iris 2: The Azoth of Destiny; he only appears as the Crimson Azoth.

Palaxius was one of the two Alchemists who created the Azoths, Palaxius created the Crimson Azoth, during the war the Crimson Azoth devastated the land, creating Lake Midgard.
