Ren Breitner is a character in Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey.
The official alchemist living in the lake town of Flussheim. As she is very serious, she has a rigid personality. Holding a strong ability, her attitude toward alchemy is very earnest. She holds contempt at the bottom of her heart for people who misuse alchemy.
She's the type of person who says things clearly, so people around her tend to think that she's scary. Secretly she is an anxious person.
Ren is one of the key characters in the events regarding the waterspout in Flussheim. She can also provide Firis with a recommendation letter if the player returns to Flussheim after crossing the lake.
