The Salute is an item in Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland.
It is an attack item, and is a more powerful version of the Bomb that causes fire elemental damage. Its unique trait "teeny cannonball" will dole out an equal amount of fire damage to all targets. It can target multiple targets on the field at once. Additionally, it may inflict status effects such as sleep on enemies.
Salutes are requested to be delivered to Hart Outpost to increase its defense during one of the kingdom development quests. Using Salute's in battle is also required during one of the royal quests "Cannon Meister".
