Wispstones are a material found in Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland and Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland.

Wispstones are used to create Platine which is required in order to make weapons.

Wispstones are a unique type of ore rarely found throughout the course of the game. They can be found early on at Arls National Mine, however, the quality will be very poor. Once the mine has been upgraded, however, you can mine high quality Wispstones. They are also found at the Twilight Forest and Endless Corridor late game. Crystal Pixies also drop this randomly.
